Swan Hotel Kingsclere, Bar and Restaurant

| The Swan Hotel has been selected by CAMRA for its Good Beer Guide since 1990. Four hand pumps serve a regularly changed variety of real ales from national, regional and micro brewers. In 2005 Alistair and Sarah McLaren, the proprietors were given an award of merit by their local CAMRA branch. There is a log fire in the winter, food from the full menu can be eaten in the bar or ajoining dining room, and a variety of board games are available. The 42" plasma TV is only used for sporting events (SKY not available). Free WFI hotspot access available in the bar area. |
The Swan offers quality food at reasonable prices. The full menu is available in the oak beamed dining room and the bar area. The menu is written on chalk boards in the bar area as it is ever changing. There are always a selection of steaks available and a variety of Pasta dishes, casseroles and curries. The Fish Board offers the best seasonable fresh fish and the 'Swanburger' a homemade 1/2lb steak burger is locally famous.
